LucasArts released the official game soundtrack as a part of a package with the PC game. The score stands on its own like Morricones and is quite enjoyable. The Last Gunfight open very similarly to Morricones Ecstasy of Gold, making this track one of the best on the album, and The Last Gunfight sounds more like the main theme from A Fistful of Dollars. The track contains the main Outlaws theme played in a Native American fashion.

Tracks 3, 5, 9, 11, and 13, are percussive underscore sounding very disjointed and hard to get used to. The solo female vocals add to the tenderness of the track nicely representing Anna. Here the track starts with a solo, mellow trumpet followed by a low playing cello then followed by a western type piano. The latter half of the track is carried out by solo whistling and underscore. Sanctuary begins with a wolf howling leading to the intro of another theme on the guitar. Outlaws starts off with a racing acoustic guitar playing the quick prelude to the main theme played by a solo synthesized horn then whistled before the track carries on the start of an adventure as the music varies from racy to action styles. It's a shame such games are not released anymore today.Now the Marshal goes on a quest for revenge to rescue his daughter. Great Ennio Morricone style music, that did a lot to the atmosphere.
Despite the scenes, that were drawn in comic style, the game was so full of everything a good italo-western needs. This game was the only game, that made me feel like "I am Clint Eastwood". In fact, the whole game puts you in difficult situations, with lots of armed and skilled enemies on your track. I was annoyed by the slow reload of some weapons, while I was surrounded by many villains. You explore different locations, outdoor and indoor areas, streets, saloons, canyons, trains, and many more, where you run around killing everything that moves. I definitely recommend this game for the western enthusiasts. The story is dramatic, the design is created by hand, and the soundtrack is very good. You play as Marshall James Anderson, a reputed gunfighter, that goes after the man who killed his wife and stole his daughter. The view is from a first-person perspective, and the action is set in the American Old West. Outlaws is a 1997 action game developed and published by LucasArts.
